Stephen Chamberlain, co-defendant of missing British tech tycoon Mike Lynch, has tragically died in hospital after being hit by a car on Saturday while jogging in Cambridgeshire, according to his lawyer. Chamberlain, who was previously acquitted alongside Lynch in a US fraud trial involving the $11 billion sale of software giant Autonomy, was described as a "courageous man" by his lawyer, Gary Lincenberg.

Meanwhile, Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter are currently missing after their luxury yacht sank off the coast of Sicily during a suspected storm caused a "sudden tornado."
Among those missing are other high-profile individuals, including Jonathan Bloomer, Chairman of Morgan Stanley International Bank, and Chris Morvillo, a lawyer at Clifford Chance.
The Cambridgeshire Police have appealed for witnesses following the tragic accident involving Chamberlain.
Lynch's disappearance adds another layer of mystery to the case, leaving the future of the investigation uncertain.
