More evidence of a surge in support for the Reform UK has emerged today, with a YouGov poll placing Nigel Farage's party just one point behind the Labour party.

The research shows Reform at 25 per cent, overtaking the Tories, who trail at 22 per cent.
Although polls conducted this far from a general election can be challenging to interpret—especially as over a quarter of respondents did not select any party—these numbers signal a potential political breakthrough for Reform.
According to projections from Electoral Calculus, such figures would see Nigel Farage leading over 100 MPs, cementing the party's presence in Westminster. Labour would remain the largest party with 287 seats but fall short of an overall majority.
Despite the Reform Party’s gains, Labour retains a strong lead among younger voters. Among 18-24-year-olds, Labour commands 36 per cent support compared to 19 per cent for Reform.

These latest numbers reflect a shifting political landscape, with Reform becoming a major contender in British politics.
