Reform UK has proudly announced a substantial £1 million advertising push in the final week before the country heads to the polls on Thursday.

The party revealed an impressive surge in support, receiving £400,000 in donations within just 24 hours. Additionally, during the General Election campaign, the party’s membership has remarkably doubled from 30,000 to 60,000. This wave of contributions is credited to enthusiastic grassroots supporters, particularly inspired by a recent event in Birmingham, despite earlier controversies.

The £1 million advertising initiative aims to effectively communicate that Reform UK is poised to be the leading opposition to a Labour government. Party leader Nigel Farage expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying he was “blown away by the generosity of so many ordinary people who are sick of what is happening to this country.”

Farage remarked, “It is humbling but also very telling that they are prepared to back their faith in Reform UK with hard-earned cash, and I thank each and every one of them.”

He emphasized Reform UK's role as the primary voice of opposition across the nation and encouraged voters to make a significant impact by supporting the party. “Reform UK is already the leading voice of opposition across the country and by Friday morning, we can be the real opposition in Parliament too. If people want to make it actually happen, all they have to do is vote for it. It’s that simple.”

Mr. Farage assured stricter oversight within the party to maintain and enhance support from ethnic minority voters. Addressing Times Radio, he acknowledged past missteps and committed to rigorous control measures moving forward. “This is a start-up party. I took it over a month ago. There were some people there that should never, ever have been there, and I’m sorry for that,” he stated.

He highlighted the party’s growing support among black and ethnic minority voters, citing recent YouGov polling that shows Reform UK surpassing the Liberal Democrats in this demographic. “How interesting that despite all these smears, YouGov polling yesterday showing that Reform now has more black and ethnic minority voters than the Liberal Democrats.”

Despite challenges, including candidate controversies, Mr. Farage emphasized the party's progress and potential. He expressed disappointment over issues with a contracted vetting company but remained optimistic about the party's future. “When I took this over a month ago, we had hardly any staff and no money… Yes, we’ve got things to sort out, as every party does. But believe me, something is happening out there,” he asserted.

Reaffirming his commitment to Reform UK, Farage dismissed speculation about joining the Conservative party, emphasizing Reform’s distinct mission. “For the moment, the Conservative Party is a broad church with no religion. I mean, they don’t agree on anything. They don’t stand for anything other than their own jobs or ministerial cars. I mean, frankly, the Conservative Party virtually doesn’t exist. This is for Reform,” he declared.

Looking ahead, Farage is focused on building a mass movement for genuine change, including reforming the electoral system and other significant issues. “Thursday is the first big step. And what we’re going to do over the next few years is to build a mass movement for real change and that includes the electoral system and much else,” he concluded.
